TRADES FOR TITANS HIGHLIGHTS
Quarter 3 - Jan 2018
Trades For Titans was established in early 2018 as a Partnership, the owners found a small share workshop giving them 200 square metres. They manufactured their first products being temporary fence stillages. They also bought their first lathe and forklift.

Quarter 4 was exciting when our first CNC lathe was bought and sited ready for us to repair, we fixed the lathe and ran our first paying machined jobs through it.

Quarter 1 2018 TFT purchased their first manual milling machine to start being able to offer the second operations. First chips were made after some crucial tooling purchases.
Quarter 2 - October 2018

Quarter 2 - 2018, TFT had outgrown their 200 sqm starting shop and decided to move from Ashfield to Malaga, new workshop had 350 sqm with yard access.

Quarter 3 - 2019, TFT became a company and started purchasing more fixed assets. A Hafco BM-53VE was the second manual mill added along with the second CNC lathe, a Mori Seiki SL5H.

Quarter 4, 2019 - Both directors now fully pledged their time to TFT, they obtained a couple of vehicles and hit the road to drum up some new clients, this came with new machining to increase their capability.

Quarter 1, 2019 - TFT won a plasma bed refurb contract that it carried out, then increased capability with some different machining work coming through the door.
Quarter 2 - October 2019
Quarter 2, 2019 - This quarter we seen our milling increase dramatically which pushed us to commit to a CNC VMC for the next quarter. A couple more clients joined our list varying our scope of works offered.

Quarter 3, 2020 - This quarter was an explosive start for TFT in 2020, a large reshuffle of assets and huge spike of work. Ethan commenced a Fitter and machinist apprenticeship with us. We scrapped a forklift and had it upgraded with a replacement, also removed a Mazak mill due to non repairable issues but have replaced it with a brand new Doosan 6700L mill, such a beast.

Quarter 4, 2020 - In this quarter we again added to the asset pool purchasing another CNC lathe, Mori Seiki SL25 was installed. Shop is starting to fill up now, thoughts have been about moving in the near future.
Quarter 1 - July 2020
Quarter 1, 2020 - We had another post crane installed this quarter but had eyes on another CNC lathe, unfortunately we were outgrowing our unit and went on the hunt for a bigger shop. We found this opportunity around the corner in a workshop we have been eyeing off for the last couple of years, lease was executed at the end of quarter.

Quarter 2, 2020 - In this quarter we had minimal downtime with the move, moved all of our heavy assets and were back into operation within the week whilst cleaning the old facility in the interim. Our next lathe arrived which is a game changer for us, the Doosan 2600 SY.

Quarter 3, 2021 - This quarter we were on the hustle machining whatever we could get our hands on to improve cashflow to pay for the move, we also started working on our 5S improvements for the shop layout.

Quarter 4, 2021 - This quarter we continued to hustle out the machining jobs bringing on board some new clients and welcoming Josh to the team offering another Apprenticeship.

Quarter 1, 2021 - This quarter was fun, added a 5T overhead gantry to our capability along with a barfeeder on the Puma 2600SY that we have named "Marvo", the start of our lights out game. Along came Zona to duel trade with us, already setting and programming.

Quarter 2, 2021 - This quarter was all about increasing our capability on the machines, taking on jobs that we would have never thought about doing in-house, it was a real think outside the box kind of quarter. Was great to close out a really busy year with a bang.

Quarter 3, 2022 - Not sure why Zona is always laughing, we must have some funny jokes... Made our way to Kalgoorlie to let them know who we are and bring home some new work, nice and busy quarter with WIP. Oh, and we bought another hunker introducing another 2 axis lathe to our capability with a 12 inch chuck.

Quarter 4, 2022 - THE BEAST arrived, we installed a brand new Doosan 750L VMC early in the quarter and put it straight to work complimenting our other milling capability. Again took on some more weird and wonderful work boosting our capability using some CAM software Fusion 360. Oh and "pinchy" joined our team in the fish tank as head of security.

Quarter 1, 2023 - Well safe to say we started the 2023 financial year off with a bang, 1 week turnaround on a shutdown piece of mine equipment, lucky we had the beasts bed for this large piece of equipment. Then lots of odd machining and fabrication jobs all round.

Quarter 2, 2023 - Boom, our next Puma arrived, we commissioned another Y axis mill turn but with a bigger chuck and tailstock. Then yet again, took on some more work to test out our capabilities.
